You don’t have to commute across town or rearrange your life to get high-quality support for your relationship. Virtual couples therapy is not a second-best option. In fact, with the right training and tools, it can be just as effective — and sometimes even more impactful — than meeting in an office.

I offer trauma-informed, attachment-based couple therapy to clients across Arizona through secure telehealth sessions. Whether you’re navigating the impact of childhood wounds, struggling to communicate, healing from betrayal, or just feeling disconnected and unsure where to start, virtual sessions offer an accessible, structured way to reconnect and repair.

What Makes Telehealth Work So Well for Couples

Therapy over video might seem distant at first, but when it’s done intentionally, it can become a powerful container for change. My clinical approach is grounded in real-time nervous system awareness, nonverbal tracking, and experiential tools that don’t rely on being in the same physical space. The relationship dynamic comes to life on screen, and we work with it exactly as it shows up.

  • Sessions happen in your own space, so your body may feel more relaxed and open from the start
  • We can observe how you show up in your actual home environment, which offers incredibly helpful cues
  • You get to integrate new ways of interacting in the space where your relationship actually happens
  • No commute, no rush, no distractions — just focused time for your relationship

You’re Not Losing Depth — You’re Gaining Flexibility

Virtual couples therapy works because of how intentionally it’s guided, not because of the platform. With the right clinical tools and presence, video sessions become a space for real-time nervous system tracking, meaningful connection, and tangible change. My training includes specific work in adapting attachment-based, somatic, and experiential therapy for telehealth settings. That means I know what to look for, how to guide you when things get activated, and how to use the virtual format to help you stay emotionally engaged with one another.

You don’t have to miss out on the depth or direction of in-person work. We slow things down, notice nervous system shifts in real time, and practice new interactions with structure and safety, all from the comfort and convenience of your home.

I bring my full presence to every session. I stay engaged, guide with clarity, and help both partners track the subtle and not-so-subtle patterns that keep you stuck. You're in therapy to learn how to talk with each other, not necessarily to talk to the therapist. I'll provide plenty of support and guidance, but at the end of the day, you want to have the tools to be able to handle your relationship together instead of the therapist handling it for you. The goal is to create a shift in how you relate, even while sitting in different rooms from your therapist.

Virtual couples therapy is especially effective for:

This Isn’t Passive Screen Time. It’s Active, Relational Work.

  • Couples with demanding work or parenting schedules who need therapy that fits their life, not the other way around
  • Partners who feel most comfortable processing difficult conversations from the familiarity of their own home
  • Couples navigating long-distance relationships or periods of physical separation
  • Those living in rural or underserved areas without easy access to specialized couple therapy
  • Partners recovering from trauma, betrayal, or faith transitions who want steady, supportive, and well-trained care
  • Couples who value structure, clarity, and direction — and want all of that without needing to commute
  • Couples who have challenges surrounding mobility or do not have access to transportation
